My Boots

So,k I bought Sundi a pair of boots at a used clothing market a few days ago. They are three sizes to big, but she LOVES them. She wants to wear them with everything..everywhere. Most of the time, I let her.

Is she striking a ballet pose???? In black leather boots??? Biological or not, she is clearly MINE!

This is the way we brush our teeth...

School

This is Sundi working hard to color in the lines.

Mommy thinks she does a really good job.

The last half were completed without help. Not bragging, just proud.

Mommy's little helper

Damon is not as excited as Sundi about this arrangement!

Umm, the idea is to put the food IN MY MOUTH, sister.

Open Wide!

If I let go of this spoon, do you promise to return it with more food?

Good job, Sundi. You are getting the hang of it. Whew, I was getting worried I would never get my food.

mmm...

Hi, people. Mommy said she wanted everyone to see how much I eat at EVERY meal. Not sure what the big deal is!

Here we are making chipati. It's a Kenyan favorite. It is kind of like a tortilla only thicker and greasier. Yum!

My job is to fold the dough after Mommy rolls it out.

Caught! I know I am not supposed to be rolling....but it looked like so much fun!

Kid's pics

Daddy doesn't like this picture because he says it makes me look too grown up!
Mommy says I make her look pale. I tell her not to worry, the sun is bound to come out sometime while we are in Kenya and then she can work on her tan.
Wish this picture had sound!
...and this is my daddy...Sundi names her family daily. Do we have another teacher in the making??? Kind of looks like it!

When Damon first came to us, he could barely sit up. I think he felt a little self-conscious around Josie who is two months younger and a girl at that, but can walk! Don't worry, Buddy, you'll get it!

Two PROUD dads.
"A little tea, Damon?" Josie is a true Kenyan. Here in Kenya it is a social taboo not to offer tea to a visitor and just as bad not to accept!

She's just so happy!!!

We've switched!

We were having such a hard time loading pictures to live journal, and once I had spent the hours it takes to upload here, I could never find where they went. SO this is our new blog. Hope it works out better and you get to see my little cuties more often! Enjoy!

Daddy's favorite LITTLE girl!

I know the picture is sideways, but I couldn't resist...isn't it beautiful?!? I don't know who is happier..Sundi or Daddy, but I do know this is Sundi's favorite place to be. Hapa? Hapa, Daddy
