1st day in Kenya

Hey gang - this is Michelle taking over for Kim. Today is my first full day in Kenya with the Smith's. We had family day today. It was great hanging with Kim, Sundi, and Damon. We went to the "park" - a place called Amani that was beautiful. Amani means peace. The kids got to play in the sand and on the slides while Kim and I had lunch. I brought my camera and managed to get a couple of shots of the kids. Sundi is quite the little model. Damon, being 1, is a little more difficult. It also takes him a little longer to warm up to new people, so with me being a new person to him and putting a huge camera in front of my face is a little intimidating. Sundi loved it and wanted to see all the pictures after. My hope is to update the blog each day with a new pic. However, we are going to try to go on Safari on Saturday to Nakuru National Park which is 4 1/2 hours away. So, there will probably be a couple of days with no blogging.
