1. Email Bill O'Reilly at oreilly@foxnews.com. I'll put a suggested text out there when I can catch my breath. But in the meantime, you can paste the request we made to the President into an email (subject "Diffusing false rumors of Kenyan children mistreated" or something like that). The focus just has to be on the fact that we have a responsibility as a nation to assure all Kenyans (and by extension, all Africans) that Americans believe their children are treasures that we hold in the highest regard. And that our letters from the AG and President's offices are due tomorrow night.
2. If you are a Kenyan-American, please call the Kenya Embassy and ask the ambassador to encourage our government to honor the Kenya high court's request and acknowledge that we are an approved adoptive couple. The ambassador can vouch for the fact that the concerns being expressed are very real to countless Kenyans, and are NOT an excuse to look for a bribe. Even if you are personal friends with His Excellency President Kibaki or Honorable PM Raila Odinga, do not call them to ask what is going on with our case. We are trying to allay all fears about the safety of Kenya's children, not strong-arm or intimidate anyone into giving us a positive adoption ruling.
