Baby Elephants

Compared to Jeromy's last blog, this seems a little shallow, but how fun is this??? This baby is about six months old. He fell into a deep well (called here a man hole). He was under a month at the time. He is a cutie, huh!

These babies will depend on the milk until they are three to four years old. After they are weaned, they will be released to the wild. See how he snuggles with the trainer using his trunk. They told us that the elephants can recognize their trainers even after being separated for twelve years.
